A Wisconsin man has been charged with sexual exploitation of a child for allegedly convincing a sexually abused year-old girl from Tennessee to send him a video of her stepfather raping her. Bryan Rogers, 31, was charged in US District Court in Madison Monday with knowingly persuading a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing a visual depiction of such conduct. According to his arrest affidavit, Rogers befriended the underage victim via the online game Roblox sometime in December. The two began exchanging messages around Christmas Eve, and soon after the teen confided in Rogers that she was being sexually assaulted at home. The year-old girl had been missing since January 13 when she vanished from her home in Madisonville, Tennessee. Pruitt, her mother's husband who adopted her, has been arrested on rape charges. Over a series of messages, the home-schooled year-old begged Rogers to help her and revealed that she was having suicidal thoughts because of the alleged sexual abuse.

BNO News reports that the girl, who is nearly 11, gave birth by Caesarean section yesterday after arriving at a hospital in the city of Puebla where she had previously been to seek help for problems associated with the pregnancy. The mother has returned home to recover from the Caesarean but is visiting daily to breastfeed the child. The girl is said to be in the custody of protective services in the state and is being monitored both physically and psychologically. According to the New York Daily News it is not the first time a young girl has given birth in Mexico.
